Alexei Navalny launches hunger strike in jail for proper medical care

Alexei Navalny, a leading critic of The Kremlin and Russian President Vladimir Putin, has started a hunger strike in the jail in demand of proper healthcare. As per the reports, Navalny encountered acute pain in his back and legs after which he kicked off the hunger strike to force the prison authorities to provide him with proper medical care. He also wrote a letter to the governor of his prison with the demand for medical care.
