Amid violence, Mali PM & entire govt quits, prez accepts resignation

In the middle of violence, the Prime Minister of Mali & the entire government has resigned. On Wednesday, a motion of no confidence was submitted as MPs blamed that PM Soumeylou Boubeye Maiga failed to control protests. President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita has accepted Maiga & his ministers' resignation. "A new PM will be announced soon & a new govt will be formed after discussions with all political parties," Keita said.
