Angela Merkel receives Moderna dose as second jab after getting AstraZeneca as first jab

Amid all the discussions over the use of vaccine cocktail from different vaccine candidates for better response against Covid-19, German Chancellor Angela Merkel received a Moderna Covid-19 vaccine as her second jab, after getting AstraZeneca as the first dose. Merkel received the first dose of AstraZeneca's vaccine in April. She is set to step down as the country's premier this year after 16 years in power.
