As part of its economic stimulus package, Japan to fund companies to shift production out of China

China has been Japan's biggest trading partner in general but imports from China have drastically dropped due to lockdown in order to contain the COVID-19 spread. This has hit the manufacturing and supply chain. Due to this, Japan will be funding its companies to move manufacturing operations out of China. As a part of its economic stimulus package, Japan has reserved $2.2 billion to help companies shift production from China.
