BJP Union Minister Babul Supriyo assured a cancer-affected mother of taking no action against her son post the Jadavpur University protest. The mother Rupali Ballabh urged Supriyo to not 'put her son, Debanjan Ballabh to jail' in a newspaper report. The minister replied to the report on Twitter in Bengali, saying he won't take any action against Debanjan and will pray for Rupali's early recovery.
