Baijayant Jay Panda comes as BJP's Vice President and spokesperson

Odisha leader Baijayant Jay Panda joined the Bhartiya Janta Party just a few days ago and today he has been appointed as the party vice president and national spokesperson by the party's president Amit Shah. This has come just before the Lok Sabha elections 2019. The importance given to him is to improve the party's tally in the eastern state ahead of the polls. Baijayant quit the Biju Janata Dal last year.
