Belarusian President Lukashenko to get landslide victory in elections: Early results

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is set to get re-elected after he won a landslide re-election victory on Monday. The elections were contested after violent clashes between police and thousands of protesters who said the poll was rigged. According to the Election Commission, Lukashenko had won 80% of the vote in Sunday's election. Lukashenko's rival Svetlana Tikhanouskaya, a former English teacher, won 9.9% of the vote.
