Bhupendra Patel sworn-in as new chief minister of Gujarat

BJP MLA Bhupendra Patel has been sworn-in as the chief minister of Gujarat on Monday after the sudden exit of former CM Vijay Rupani ahead of the assembly elections in 2022. Ahead of swearing-in ceremony, Bhupendra Patel also met Vijay Rupani at the Chief Minister's residence in Gandhinagar. Bhupendra Patel replaced Vijay Rupani, who unexpectedly stepped down from the top post in the state.
