Bihar takes Covid19 testing to 1 lakh per day 48 hours after CM Nitish's promise

Merely two days after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conveyed his intent to PM Narendra Modi about reaching the milestone of 1lakh Covid19 tests daily in the state, the Bihar Health Department on Thursday crossed the milestone of 1 lakh tests within 24 hours. 1,04,432 samples were tested positive for Covid-19 on August 13 out of which, only 3906 returned positive. The positivity rate in the state now stands at just 4%.
