Bill aimed at aiding Ukraine amid struggles with Russia, awaiting US Senate approval

The US Senate Foreign Relations Committee pushed forward a bill aimed at helping Ukraine amid rising tensions with Russia. The bill titled Ukraine Security Partnership Act, also mentions pressurising companies helping to build Russia's Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. The bill that awaits Senate approval, includes $300 million in foreign military financing. "Ukrainians have a right to choose their own future," said Senator Jim Risch.
