Bill Clinton chose Indian food over the Queen of England

Former secret records indicate that on his first official visit to the UK with Tony Blair as Prime Minister, Bill Clinton declined tea with the Queen because he wanted to "be a tourist" and try out an Indian restaurant. The visit had a lot riding on it, with the British and Americans believing that it was important for international relations and showing the Prime minister as a serious and dynamic leader.
