Bipartisan resolution in US asks India to restore internet & end detention in J&K

A bipartisan resolution is introduced in the US asking India to end the restrictions on communication and mass detentions in J&K. Resolution number 745 was launched by Indian-American Democrat lawmaker Pramila Jaypal along with Republican lawmaker Steve Watkins & will be put to vote in the house. Since 4 months, political leaders including 3 former CMs were detained in J&K. Also, the internet remains cut off for most people.
