BJP leader Smriti Irani's Close Aide & Village Head shot dead in Amethi

Surendra Singh, former village head & close aide of BJP leader Smriti Irani was shot at his residence by 2 unidentified assailants in Amethi's Baraulia village. He was in a serious condition & succumbed to his injuries during treatment. He was former village head of Baraulia village under Jamo police station limits. 2 people have been detained in connection with the incident & further investigation was underway.
