BJP legislator tries to drink sanitiser in Odisha assembly over state government's failure to procure paddy

BJP MLA from Deogarh, Subash Chandra Panigrahi shocked everyone in the Odisha assembly when he tried drinking sanitiser to lodge his protest against the state government's failure to procure paddy. Panigrahi was on his way to drink the sanitiser when he was stopped by parliamentary affairs minister Bikram Arukha, senior BJD legislator Pramila Mallick and other legislators. BJD MLA Ananta Das said such an act was "not acceptable."
