Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan is confident that the recent killing of a BSF constable by the BGB won't affect the bilateral relations and he would meet the Indian HM Amit Shah to "defuse the situation. Khan said that a "misunderstanding between the forces" led to the killing of Border Security Force head constable Vijay Bhan Singh. He promised to take necessary steps so that such an incident is not repeated.
