A Dalit voter, Pawan Kumar in Shikarpur area, chopped off his finger for voting for BJP accidentally instead of BSP at the booth during the Phase II elections. He wished to vote for SP-BSP-RLD alliance candidate Yogesh Verma but mistakenly voted for MP & BJP candidate Bhola Singh by pressing the BJP button. He chopped his finger frustrated over his fault, later released a video on Twitter to repent for his mistake.
