Chhatrapati Shivaji statue in Maharashtra will cost Rs 3643.78 cr

The Arabian sea of Mumbai coast will give place to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s upcoming statue which will be constructed at the cost of Rs 3643.78 crore and will be ready by 2022-23. The cost of total expenditure was reduced from Rs 3700.84 crore to Rs 3643.78, an official said. The time period of 5 years will include survey and investigation of the site. Only Rs 2581 crore will be spent in the construction of the statue.
