Clear lack of transparency and loyalty: EU Foreign Policy Chief targets US over submarine row

European Union leaders expressed solidarity with France after Australia cancelled the submarine deal with Paris in order to procure nuclear-powered submarines from US. "We are observing a clear lack of transparency and loyalty," European Council chief Charles Michel said while adding that there was more clarity during the regime of Donald Trump. EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and others extended their support to France.
