Congress-DMK announces alliance in TN, Congress will contest from 10 seats

A day after BJP, AIADMK, PMK announces alliance for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, DMK announces an alliance with Congress which will be its first ally for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. DMK’s MK Stalin announces that Congress will contest from 10 Lok Sabha seats including the lone Puducherry seat. This alliance of Congress and DMK failed to win any seat in Tamil Nadu in the 2014 general elections.
