Criminal cases registered against social media giants over anti-national messages

Criminal cases registered against social media giants Twitter, Whatsapp and TikTok over anti-national messages by Cybercrime police in Hyderabad. The cases were registered against the management of these online firms under various sections of IPC and notices will be served to them in a couple of days. This action was taken after a petition was filed by a Hyd-based journalist-turned-social activist Silveri Srisailam.
