China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi offered US President-elect Joe Biden to work together towards the common interests and said that US critics were creating an atmosphere of "McCarthyism". "It is important that US policy toward China return to objectivity and sensibility as early as possible," Wang said. He expressed hope of expanding cooperation and managing differences through dialogue with the Biden administration.
