My car was fined too for speeding in Mumbai: Nitin Gadkari on hefty challans

Union minister Nitin Gadkari has defended the hefty challans for traffic violations that came into effect this month. He said that even he paid challan for speeding in Mumbai. He also said that 786 accident-prone spots had been marked along the National Highways and the govt is working on to improve road safety. 30% driving licenses that are being used in the country are bogus, Gadkari added.
