Defying Trump, US lawmakers decided to end support for Yemen war

Defying President Trump, the US Senate has voted to end its alliance with Riyadh and by doing that they would end support to the Yemen War. The Senate vote was 54 to 46 with 7 Republicans aligning with the Democrats, defying the president. The White House has threatened a Veto and said that the process would harm the bilateral relationships in that region while curbing Washington's ability to fight against extremism.
