Delhi Cabinet approves to pay the CBSE Exam Fees of 3.14 lakh students

The Delhi government has approved the proposal to pay the CBSE exam fee of around 3.14 lakh Class X & XII students of government schools from 2019-20. The expected cost that the government will have to bear is Rs 57.20 crore a year. The scope of the decision is to provide complete subsidy to students towards the CBSE exam fees, which includes practical exams of the science stream and vocational subjects of Class XII.
