Delhi Court discharges Shashi Tharoor in Sunanda Pushkar death case

In a major relief for Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, he has been discharged by a Sessions Court in Delhi in the death case of his late wife Sunanda Pushkar. The Congress MP's wife was found dead in a hotel room in January 2014. It was found in the medical report that Sunanda's body had several drugs present in the system. Mr. Tharoor was booked under Sections 498A (marital cruelty) and 306 (abetment to suicide) of the IPC.
