Delhi govt to deposit Rs. 25 crore for failing to curb pollution: NGT

The NGT has asked the Delhi government to deposit Rs.25 crore with the CPCB for failing to curb the pollution problem in the national capital. Expressing their dissatisfaction, the NGT noted that the Delhi government has still not yet deposited the sum per its order on December 3, 2018, and despite an Action Taken Report (ATR) has been filed, the action barely meets the magnitude of violation in the city.
