New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has said that her country's differences with China on human rights are becoming "harder to reconcile". The statement came after Ardern's administration faced criticism for showing submissive behaviour towards China's violation of human rights. "We need to acknowledge that there are some things on which China and New Zealand do not, cannot, and will not agree," she said.
