The BJP returns to power with 303 & we get a new govt. The Lok Sabha is getting younger. We have fewer MPs over 70 years of age & more MPs under 40 years. This Lok Sabha, voters have sent 12% of MPs below the age of 40 years while 16th LS was 8%. The average age of MPs in 17th Lok Sabha is 54 years & the women MPs are 6 years younger compared to the male MPs. We now have 78 women MPs as compared to 62 in 2014.
