Doing tit-for-tat, China slammed US with new tariffs after later imposed sanctions

Relations between China and the US seemed to be tensed as the Chinese government has slammed the later with new tariffs. On Monday, China’s Ministry of Finance announced that Beijing had taken revenge from Washington by imposing export duties targeting $60 billion worth of US goods, which will come into effect from 1st June. This has come after the US a few days back imposed sanctions on Chinese goods.
