Since the time Donald Trump has tweeted to stop lending money to China, the world bank has reduced its lending sharply. David Malpass, former US Treasury official & world bank leader did defend his approach by saying that world bank has reduced its lending to China and will continue to do so. World bank has decided to keep its engagement with China extremely selective. There will be proper restrictions on lending.
