Donald Trump in favour of postponing G7 summit until after US Presidential elections

United States President Donald Trump has said that he wants to postpone the G7 summit till the Presidential elections in the country. “I’m much more inclined to do it sometime after the election; we were going to do it in September,” the president said while addressing the media. He also said that the conference could be done through teleconference. Trump had also invited PM Narendra Modi to attend the event.
