EC refused to share details on poll code violation by politicians including PM Modi

On Monday the Election Commission refused to share any information on alleged election code violations by PM Modi and other politicians during the recently held Lok Sabha election campaigns and following clean chits given to them. The Commission said that the accumulation of the details will disproportionately divert its resources. Replying to an RTI, it also denied providing a copy of file noting of dissent notes.
