'Educated men won't rape': South Africa minister faces heat for her statement

South Africa's education minister Angie Motshekga had to face the ire of the general public for saying that educated men do not commit rape at a time when the country is struggling to contain the cases of assault and violence against women. Motshekga said her government "has prioritised education because it knows that it's only through education can we deal with some of our challenges... because an educated man won't rape".
