Egypt orders 30 Rafale fighter jets from France's Dassault Aviation

Egypt's military has placed an order for 36 Rafale jets from French aerospace major Dassault Aviation, news agency AFP reported on Tuesday. The order for 30 Rafale jets will be financed through a 10-year loan, Egyptian military said. In a statement, French Defence Minister Florence Parly said the new Rafale deal "reinforces the strategic and military partnership between France and Egypt".
