'Eknath Shinde himself asked Devendra Fadnavis to join his cabinet': Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil

Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil on Friday said there was nothing unexpected about Devendra Fadnavis becoming Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister. He also said that Eknath Shinde himself asked Fadnavis to join his cabinet and after which the latter asked the party's central leadership for their permission.
