The speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi spoke about the spread of misinformation during the presidential elections. When asked about the misinformation spread during the elections, Pelosi said, "I'm not a big fan of Facebook. I don't know what they have been doing but I know they've been part of the problem, all along." Facebook and Twitter took down many groups and profiles spreading misinformation this year.
