Facebook pulled down over 2 billion Fake Accounts in 2019

The social media giant announced that Facebook took down 2.19 billion fake accounts during the 1st quarter of 2019 & it disabled 1.2 billion fake accounts in Q4 2018. FB has 2.38 billion monthly active users. The company adds as far as fake accounts go, it estimates that 5% of monthly active accounts are real. FB CEO said that FB is making in progress in combating harmful content & fake accounts; it needs to do better.
