Former MP CM Kamalnath and 8 others booked for violating COVID norms during a public gathering

An FIR has been filed against former MP Chief Minister Kamal Nath and eight others for violating coronavirus protocols during a public meeting. The FIR under multiple sections of the IPC and Disaster Management Act was filed after a written complaint by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Arvind Mahor a day earlier. "2,000-2,500 persons were present as against permission of 100 persons allowed," the FIR said.
