Former NSA Michael Flynn pardoned by Donald Trump

In a major decision after his defeat to Joe Biden, current US President Donald Trump has pardoned his first national security adviser Michael Flynn. “It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon," Trump wrote on Twitter. Flynn had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about contacts with a Russian official. Trump congratulated Flynn and his family after the decision.
