Former PM terms demonetization as an 'unnecessary adventure'

Manmohan Singh, Former Prime Minister of India put his views on the 500 and 1000 note ban, that took place in November 2016. He said that it was an 'unnecessary adventure' for the citizens of India and brought problems to the economy and commoners. The Congress leader said that such moves prove to be a failure anywhere in the world, keeping aside some exceptions of some Latin American and African nations.
