Former Union Minister Ajit Singh passes away due to Covid19

Chaudhary Ajit Singh, the former Union minister and the chief of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), passed away due to coronavirus. He was 82. "He was being treated in a private hospital and was in the ICU and also on ventilator support from the last few days,” a message by his personal secretary read. The news of Mr. Chaudhary's demise was confirmed by his son and former MP Jayant Chaudhary on the micro-blogging platform Twitter.
