MJ Akbar appeared on Govt book , officials says was published before his resign

Since the photo of the #MeToo accused MJ Akbar appeared on the booklet distributed to delegates at the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas in Varanasi, Congress has been attacking the Modi-led govt. The book mentioned the achievements of the MEA and was featuring all the members of the ministry. The book was published in May last year before he resigned over allegations. Govt clarified he is no more associated with the ministry.
