"Grave Setback": Joe Biden on military coup in Sudan

US President Joe Biden said the military coup in Sudan was a ''grave setback'' for the country. Biden called for the restoration of the civilian-led government in the country. ''Our message to Sudan's military authorities is overwhelming and clear: the Sudanese people must be allowed to protest peacefully," the US President said. Sudan's General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, however, has defended the action by the military.
