Russian President Vladimir Putin while speaking about key Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, said he got what he deserved. “He deliberately moved to be arrested,” Putin said in a statement after a summit with US President Joe Biden in Geneva. He said Putin was punished for violating the terms of a suspended sentence from a 2014 embezzlement conviction. However, the Russian President spoke about Navalny without taking his name.
