"I Don't Eat Much Onion": Nirmala Sitharaman on onion price hike

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who has been in the news for her strange remarks about the sinking economy, made yet another weird statement. The FM was interrupted by opposition MPs during a debate on the prices of onion in parliament on Wednesday, to which she responded with a witty remark. Sitharaman said, "I don't eat a lot of onions and garlic, so don't worry. I come from a family that doesn't have much to do with onions."
