IAF recommends Wing Cr Abhinandan for "Vir Chakra"; transfers him out of Kashmir

The IAF transferred wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman out of Srinagar base, Kashmir valley. He is shifted to imp airbase in the Western sector along Pak border. The name of the new base is not disclosed due to security reasons, but he will soon move to his new place of posting, which is also a fighter base & shall soon take up flying if all the tests are cleared. IAF recommends him for 'Vir Chakra,' 3rd highest wartime medal.
