I&B Ministry to EC: NaMo TV is a Ad Platform, not in the list of approved channels

The I&B Ministry says NaMo TV is an advt platform, launched by DTH service providers, does not require govt approval as per existing rules. NaMo TV is not a regular channel & it's not listed in the official list of approved channels. NaMo TV has launched few weeks ahead of elections & so Congress had asked EC to suspend the channel with regards to MCC violations; EC will now take a decision after reviewing the report.
