Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during the G20 summit in India, expressed his support for India's inclusion as a permanent member of the UNSC. Erdogan stated, "A country like India being there on the UN Security Council, we would be proud." However, he emphasised a broader perspective, highlighting the need to expand the UNSC beyond the current "larger than five" composition, which includes the US, UK, France, China, and Russia.
