India to launch Its Own Cryptocurrency
After demonetarization, RBI is now come up with a new experiment to enter the world of cryptocurrency as according to reports, RBI is considering to launch India’s very own Bitcoin-like currency called ‘Laxshmi”, as legal tender. Earlier, RBI Executive Director Sudarshan Sen said that RBI is not comfortable with Bitcoin like non-fiat cryptocurrencies and also considered the need of India’s own cryptocurrency.
