Iran, China close to signing 25-year cooperation agreement

Amid the increasing tensions with the United States, Iran and China are going to sign a 25-year cooperation agreement. As per the reports, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is in Iran for the same reason. Under the cooperation, China may invest in Iran’s energy and infrastructure sectors. It is already the largest trading partner of Tehran. The trade between the two countries is expected to reach $600 million in a decade.
